Visual identity design in Monaco
A visual identity is more than a logo.
In Monaco, a visual identity should be immediately recognisable without relying on spectacle. It sets the tone before a word is read: positioning, precision, personality and attention to detail.
Since 2012, DADZCOVER has designed visual identities as complete systems. Art direction needs to work across print and digital applications: websites, social media, presentations, sales documents, stationery, brochures, packaging, signage and event communications.
The work brings together composition, typography, colour, imagery and practical applications so the brand stays consistent at every point of contact. The studio’s sensibility comes from applied arts, drawing and painting: observing proportions, rhythm, contrast and materials before seeking an effect. A strong identity should feel right and remain recognisable everywhere.
The logo is a central element, but it cannot create an identity on its own. Logo design focuses on the mark itself; visual identity organises everything around it: palette, typography, hierarchy, iconography, composition, image treatment and application principles.
These rules should remain consistent across print and digital: communication materials, websites, social media, packaging, signage and internal documents. The aim is to retain the same brand personality across very different formats, while adapting the layout to each one.
Depending on the project, we can work from an existing identity, develop it or build a complete system. Deliverables are defined by your positioning, applications and stage of development, rather than a standard package.

Our visual identity design process
From observation to art direction, a method designed to last.
Before we start designing, we look at your business: its positioning, competitors, audiences, applications and what its image already communicates. We identify what deserves to be retained, simplified, strengthened or removed. The art direction develops through successive decisions about typography, proportions, colours, rhythm, photography and composition, until the result is coherent, legible and distinctive enough to feel your own.
WHY VISUAL IDENTITY MATTERS
Building consistency as well as visual appeal.
A professional visual identity helps people recognise your business more quickly and experience the same quality across a screen, printed document, shopfront, packaging or sales presentation.
It also gives your team, partners and suppliers clear guidelines for producing new materials without diluting the brand. In Monaco, where a business is often judged on the details, continuity between print and digital contributes directly to credibility. The aim is a system precise enough to create value and flexible enough for the business’s practical needs.
